Final Fantasy 7:
Chrono Trigger ost is so dope rappers be sampling it
Chrono Trigger hits all the right nostalgic notes but FF has always been competitively scored. Had to go with the latter. Sorry, Marle. Page me, baby.
Final Fantasy by virtue of having more quality tracks.
Flow of life is simply gorgeous. Chills evrytym.
Anxious Heart is indomitable.
And Still more fighting is the GOAT FF boss battle music. Well unless you count Esper Battle from FFXII.
Undersea Palace and are To Far Away Times are simply classics though as are many others.
Underrated track by a country mile is Confusing Melody.
Bruh.... Have you heard vinyl fantasy seven mash up by Team Teamwork?
I prefer FF6 over both but have to go with Chrono Trigger here.
Frogs theme alone > FF7's entire soundtrack. Chrono Trigger is also the far superior game
CT is aces, great tunes too, but FF7 was a spectacle at the time. I loved getting the Airship/Highwind, the theme and its feeling of liberation took the game to the next level
My fav tune from FF7 is the Shinra theme. I'm pretty sure they took it from the Running Man, or close to it.
edit, yup, it's close!
I love it so much! Movie scores aren't what they used to be enough.
CT by the tiniest of margins, both fantastic OST's
I miss old Squaresoft.
I had not. Sounds interesting. Though they should avoid remixing songs that already have classic beats. Like Ante Up, there's no way to outdo the original.
FFXII shits over both games anyways.
didn't chrono trigger have an extra chip in the cart for the music or am i making that up... even with that said it's an overrated game and ff7 beats it in almost all respects...
I'm sorry but FF7 stunts on Chrono and I love Chrono
