Just trying to understand why Cormier - Jones was so ... the best fight of all times etc.

Gus, Anderson, Rumble?

not his best but i really enjoyed this

Hard to choose one. Barnett, Bigfoot, Frank Mir, Gus, Johnson, Hendo, Anderson.

One of those guys.

His best performance was against Dan Henderson (although there are a couple that could take that spot)
His best win in terms of opponent was probably Anthony Johnson.
His toughest fight that showed his true heart was the Gustafsson fight.

Barnett is up there for me. Complete and utter domination. DC was clearly on an upward trajectory, but the Barnett win really thrust Cormier to the top of the HW division.

1. Gus
2. Rumble (x2)
3. Barnett ( big win but at the time DC was underestimated by Josh)
4. Bigfoot ( underestimation was the factor too, DC was not top fighter before)
5. Hendo/ Mir

I agree with this, I was blown away at how easily Daniel handled Josh.

his slams are beautiful. imagine the strength this guy has.

Josh Barnett was maybe far from his prime, but that is still the most impressive win and fight in DCs career. Bigfoot was also on a very good run when they fought.

Bigfoot was in his prime, on a 9-1 run, 16-2 overall, and had just annihilated Fedor. That was pretty good.

The Gus fight was awesome, but Gus came into it off a round one KO loss.

Barnett and Gustafsson were his best wins. Best performance was Bigfoot. lol at Rumble, that is not his best win at all, guys a quitter.

KO'd peak Bigfoot, beat Josh decisively, broke rumble's rampage through LHW twice.

Obviously Gus since Gus is the best fighter he has fought besides Jones.

You got all right and in right order except Hendo does not belong there, because Hendo was 43, off trt and weighed only 199lbs.

Hendo/Anderson shouldn't be on that list

They never stood a chance
