I wanted to find an mma gym in Nassau county. there are a couple of mma gyms I've thought about Raylongo mma, serra jiu jitsu, bellmore kickboxing and long island mix martial arts. Which of these would be best for someone seeking to learn a variety of martial arts? i wanted to learn some form of striking and jiu jitsu but i do not know which would be the best choice.

Go to Serras bro. It really is great. I went to Xtreme Lacosta Muay Thai for years over in valley stream. I live in oceanside. If you go to Serras youll run into Weidman and Costas all the time. Gian Villante is there too. They also go to the huntington one though. Very good gyms. Theres also the first UFC gym opening in a month or two over by the 24 LA Fitness in the nassau/queens border

I have great contacts In each gym. I recommend my gym first always, Long Island MMA. But Bellmore is great a lot of great young MMA talent In there and Serras as well.

You have no need for the best gym. You have a need for a qualified instructor with a track record of making skilled fighters. You have a need to make it affordable, you have a need to be able to make it to and from practice consistently. You don't need the best gym

For your location I suggest Long Island MMA. They have a great coaching staff, a large, clean, state of the art facility and Dennis Bermudez and Ryan Laflare are there almost ever day along with Marcus Galvo and others' who are in and out.
