akg k702,can be found for under 150 reduced from over 400,professional studio level monitors. i have a pair and they are awesome,i also have bowers and wilkins p5 which are very good, but the akgs are on a different level.

The Panasonic RPHJE120K are $6.27 and you will be hard pressed to find a better sounding headphone sub $30-40. I do blue-collar work and swear by these for cheapies.

These are great. They're so affordable that I have a multiple pairs so I can have them at my home, office, car and gym bag/backpack.

I'm still using some Klipsch ImageOne over the ear bluetooth headphones. I like them quite a bit. For all other listening experiences, I use less expensive set of Sennheiser ear buds that were around $60.

if anyone likes the IEMs, inner ear monitors, checkout monoprice. these are very cheap, under $10 and they sound fantastic!
i'd never normally get a pair so cheap, usually they're not worth bothering about. however i while ago i noticed on a few specialist headphone sites, lots of posts regarding these earphones.
everyone was raving about them. there were a number of articles reviewing them and they too said how good these were. people were saying they sounded more like $100 earphones.
don't know if its relavent but they have an oversized driver, not sure what that does as far as the sound goes?

i bought a pair, loved them, and bought 3 more for the future.

Do all of these Monoprice buds bunch outside of their weight class or just the one you specifically linked?

Just picked up used V Moda M 100s fo $100 which is a hell of a deal. Absolutely the best cans I've ever owned. As far as just overall sound quality it's over my old Bose,Sennheiser, AKG and Beats, all cans I adore for different reasons.

They're just so warm, songs I love, from the Clash to Sturgill Simpson to Kendrick Lamar. They shine above the price range.

Do you know if there's actually a noticeable difference between say, a $300 pair of Sennheisers and a $1000+ pair?

I'm guessing the difference is imperceivable to anyone other than the most serious audiophile sitting in a completely sound proof room listening to music that's been flawlessly recorded with a ridiculously high dynamic range and that they're extremely familiar with.
Huge difference between hd650 ($300) and hd800 ($1400) on most sources. Very noticeable.

At $250 monoprice planar m1060 are very nice.

I’ve got pretty bad cauliflower ears. Any suggestions for ones that will stay still during my runs?
