Crushing yet another can in the bushleages. Pathetic....

He has the talent, not to be the best WW in the UFC, but to be a top 10 most likely. And he is doing this utter garbage in Asia against no-named fighters.

Does anyone still give a shit about this guy?

Complain about UFC pay, complain about UFC ownership, complain about UFC matchmaking, complain about signing your life away for pennies(unless you're McG).

But this guy wasted his career?

Unfortunately Ben is retiring late 2018, early 2019 once his contract is up he has 4 fights left on his contract so good luck with him being in the UFC.

The shame is. He signed with OneFC right around the time UFC started doing a billion shows. I honestly think had they been doing that prior. They would have signed Ben.

Not a single fight he has had of late has excited me.

OneFC has like four really good dudes at different weight classes and nobody fun to fight them.

    Yeah it's a shame
I would have loved to have seen him in the UFC, he can't be any more boring than Covington

He has reached the height of his career potential IMO. His skillset is very limited. At least he managed to find a place to fight professionally that pays him well. There are much better fighters than him getting paid much less. So fair fucks to him I say.

I thought I saw somehwere that his contract is up by time in early 2018 and that this was possibly his last fight under that contract?

Sure he does. People need to realize there is no best at WW out there. Its a weight class full of specialist where it's all about styles. The promoter can line things up to give who they want the best chance of being champ. There is no Mighty Mouse or Jon Jones in the world when it comes to 170lbs

    Makes good money

People talk about him moreso than other fighters outside of the UFC

Outside business (his wrestling academy) seems to be doing well.

    Travels the world

Coaches in both the US and overseas

Has an apartment for him and his family paid for in Singapore (at least I read that during the start of his ONE FC career)

Not only gets fight purses, but a salary as well.

Hasn't been punched in the face in over a year.

    Yup, what a wasted career.

Making money, enjoying himself, and taking literally zero damage. Yea, he's wasting his time over there.

Just about impossible to tell where he's at when he's fighting the guys One gives him though. At least when he was in Bellator there was some crossover and top-20 opponents, so you could roughly gauge how he was doing.

The shame is absolutely on him, if he had kept his mouth closed and didn't had said a lot of shit about UFC and Dana he probably would be at UFC right now. Isn't just his style (Demian is at UFC, Colby and many others too), is his douche personality with that boring style.

He's more into wrestling and coaching, would love to see him fight Damian Maia or Gunnar Nelson besides that it's like gsp 2.0 with even less striking. pass

Kadestam isn't a can, he earned the title shot fair and square by knocking Luis Sapo Santos out cold, who is a very dangerous fighter.

Albeit that was a come from behind victory after getting dominated, it doesn't matter because it's a clean KO win.
