Bellator MMA has added an intriguing undefeated fighter to its ranks.

Fabian Edwards, whose brother Leon is a top-ranked welterweight in the UFC, was announced as the latest signing to Bellator’s middleweight ranks on Saturday’s Bellator 208broadcast. The 28-year-old is 5-0 as professional competing primarily for England’s BAMMA promotion, though he actually made his pro debut at a Bellator event in London back in May 2017.

In his most recent fight, Edwards defeated Claudio Conti via a body kick KO inside of a round. He told MMA Fighting’s Petesy Carrollthis past August that he had one BAMMA bout remaining on his contract, but it appears that the path was cleared for him to make the jump into the Bellator cage.

No date or opponent was announced for Edwards’s debut.

Literally after his pro debut in bellator the next day was talks about him in talks with the UFC hella crazy bellator got him.

Good to see him In the big leagues instead of wasting away in some regional org now he can build a resume with good names and have some proper fights.

Very good signing. He could hit the same sort of level as his brother.
That record will soon be 10-0, fighting 3-2 guys and debutants for a while in true Bellator style. But its still a coup to grab him over the UFC.
