The winner on that tournament is .............. us. It's free right?
id love to watch this tourney
Should be fun. Chael vs Fedor in round 1
All of them could be mws and some even ww if they stopped training and went on a diet for a while
fucking hell. Granted some of these dudes are "big names", but 6 of the 8 are pretty much UFC has-been's at this point (with the exception being Bader, who still is likely in his prime). If this were just some kind of openweight grand prix as it's own event that'd be fine, but saying this is the best representation of the future of any ACTUAL division is crazy, and a bit sad.
War anyone but Fedor or Rampage.
I don't mind Fedor personally, but his overzealous fans ruined him.
this gon be gud.. i hope they're roiding... you know chael is lol
Sonnen also said he had trouble getting out of bad positions against bigger fighters--meaning LHWs like Rashad and Jones. Then there was the Tito fight. He matches up well against MWs and LHW strikers (Shogun/Wand), but guys like Bader, King Mo and (especially) Mitrione are way too big for him.
Bobbly Lashley over James Thompson in the final (both alternates). Worst tournament final since Jennum-Harold Howard in UFC 3. Calling it now.
I saw a quick interview with Fedor saying he has to evolve and how people know his style now from studying footage.
It was refreshing to hear. Hopefully he’s serious and doesn’t try to go in there and brawl again.
Its impossible to have watched prime Fedor and NOT be an overzealous fan...
I understand the younger generation not being impressed but mudda-fook em!
Looks more like the body fat % GP. It's a bunch of fat guys that should be retired. Can't wait.
100% agreed, be nice to see him go out on a high note
Mir beats Fedor.
No world's strongest man signing? What about Rory?
you can't evolve your chin
Absolutely. He will be small and have nothing to offer there uness he can dictate and he is a crafty dude. I no way see him winning but he is not the 185er. If you notice him out of camp he is solid. Matchup is everything. for him.
I've been watching the sport since 1994. That's why I didn't get overly enamored with the Pride-era, like so many here.
dis gon be good
Im picking Nelson
