Idunno wtf Benson was doing having single legs and going for rabbit punches instead of finishing the damn takedown
 
Patricky won the second round 1 TD to 0 TD.

Benson worked on one TD for 3 mins, and patricky is.the one who got it at the end. Good call. Close fight. Tricky should have been more aggressive in the 3rd.

They could use more advertisement for sure. Although I don't get at this age how you could be missing them. Just google "wiki ufc events" "wiki bellator events" and get all the cards and their dates.

Plus most cable boxes have a search function set up that will auto record a program for you such as Bellator
 
Bellator's plans of making Bendo their champion have fell short

He's shit the bed, once again. Like another poster said, his lone victory is via fluke injury to Patricio and he was losing that one too

If karma is real, it's attached itself to Bendo for the sds he got during his title reign (esp. the 2nd Edgar fight)

The first one to bite him in the ass was the 3rd Cowboy fight.. Yeah, that one, where he started jumping up and down shocked as a mf

I also just could never like this guy. Jesus freak, the children chanting walk out song, the pointing up at the sky, and when he thanked god for Patricio's injury, that was enough

What's left for him now? Maybe a Josh Thomson rematch, but I'm not sure

They will gift him another contention fight in the future, that I do not doubt

But tonight I'm happy.. Mr. Jesus boy wall n staller was derailed and sent back to the mma lab to the drawing board

I think I am going to start a petition to change all MMA fighters with the nickname “pit bull”, to “poodle”

He definitely beat Cerrone though :mad:

The hair swiping crap is what turned me off his fights, and I'd supported him for years.

Props to Bellator for putting a show last night and showing they have the wheels to compete with the New UFC
 
Good card overall and mauro always helps sell the fights. They need to stay more relevant with less time off and a contender series ala dwtncs mid week to keep the brand being talked about. More coverage on mma websites etc...and they can become a big player in 2018

They are ramping up the amount of shows to end the year after having some long periods of downtime in the summer between events.

Just saw the card.
Great stuff, far more entertaining than UFC Japan.

Also the commentary compared to UFC's fucking Todd Grisham is stellar and on another level, quite frankly.

Finnaly could watch the fights, kinda boring Main Event, the other 4 fights where awesome! Really hyped with Goiti after yesterday's fight, would love to have Campos-Goiti next for the title shot
 
I just saw the pico fight, man that money bellator invested looks to have paid off. Looked like a different fighter. Thanks for the list meathead:

imo it's the way he fights... He's always been that guy. He just grabs onto people and his takedowns aren't really that good so it turns into him holding on for dear life, while the other fighter tries to do as much as they can against him while they're separated.

I haven't even bothered watching his Bellator fights. Bendo has always been boring if he can't get his takedowns
 
Completely disagree with the Bendo haters.

Just throwing it in.
I like watching him fight and miss him in the UFC roster.
