Kind of like a whole female cast of Oceans 11 that's coming out.
which one is more believable though? a man doing it or a woman
Yeah.... and when they get pancake blocked they look dead
It's every thread in the WR now. People are whining about a woman starring on a show now. All this crying is ironic because the people who cry about it are those who call people snowflakes.
Somehow obama will be blamed for this one too.
Please. Both are silly. The fact that one is marginally sillier is a pointless place to draw the line
Not saying it is'nt balanced or it did'nt got hype moments for male audience too... aside swordfights just think how they win our heart with boobs
You see a new hot female char and you can safe guess "nice new char, i wonder how her tits are going to look" LOL
As start the books themselves offer a story full of powerful male figures... many of wich weakened in the show, but still many and relevant
But if you think that dat Brienne-Hound shit was'nt a target marketing fappening you're being a bit naive lol, few series like GoT are treated as "products", specially in comparision to the original source
You watch GoT and you can literally see a focus group of slimy marketing guys guessing how they can getting dat maximum facebook approval from Martin's creature
Wich tbh it's also why they can afford spend dem money$$$ for episodes, so it's an useful compromise
ps: i'm not hating just being objective, GoT is by far my fav TV show ever
I think you are over sensitive.
OP and a lot of posters in here don't even seem to watch the show to know that this is actually canonly okay and is not an issue. I would have liked Idris to play the Doctor as a more beefy and physical doctor instead of a squirrelly puzzle solver but I am okay as I liked her in Broadchurch.
They should change the title of the show to Doctor Ho.
Amy was ridicolous cute/hot, but still this win for me
She just speak straight to muh dick
Well I heard Conan will take it up the ass on the next sequel...
Doctor Who ratings were already low.
Honestly, if this new iteration flops, don't be surprised if the series is cancelled.
The only thing that'll annoy me is the narrative that will be pushed when that happens; "It's cause white people hate the successful womynz! misogyny!"
There were FIVE threads this morning on the front page where people were crying about Bill Nye, Teen Vogue (LOL wut), a music video, a commercial with lesbians and how movies didn't have enough men or something.
What a strange world we live in. The people who thump their chests about snowflakes and alphas are constantly rustled and butt hurt over something some liberal celebrity said. Its the modern version of the attack on TV from the PTC back in the day.
They even laid the groundwork 3 fucking years in advance by having The Master, one of the most important recurring villains, who is from the same alien species as the Doctor, regenerate into a female form after being played by male actors for almost as long as the Doctor himself.
At the risk of derailing the thread, you have no idea what you're talking about.
I liked Clara as much as anyone, but Bill Potts was a perfectly good Companion. If for no other reason, it was a refreshing change of pace to have a Companion who had absolutely no romantic or sexual interest in the Doctor whatsoever.
Getting a breather from the incessant romantic subtext was reason enough to make Bill a lesbian.
How long you have been watching the show does not make your opinion any more valid.
....plus Matt Smith was better then David Tennant.
Hey, whatever you need to belief to coop.
Depends on when you started watching. Typically one's first Doctor is one's favorite Doctor. And in my case at least, the first episode I ever watched was The Eleventh Hour.
And you have to admit that Matt Smith more than any other modern Doctor, had a knack for making you believe that he was a truly ancient being, despite being the youngest actor to ever play the part.
Do meme creators need to be held responsible when a special snowflake journalist feels threatened by their work?
