Nope, you don't have me convinced. A 1,500 pound animal vs a 3,000 pound animal. I have to see both going at each other before I agree with you. They are basically built the same. The bison has shorter horns but compensates in weight. Why do people think that bison are peaceful animals? Why would a bull charge a animal twice its size? That usually does not happen in the animal kingdom unless the smaller animal is charging in packs. Your bull may look mean because he is going after a human 1/6th its size. Attacking another bull of the same size is no big deal. Attacking a bison twice its size and weight is a whole different matter. Do you really think a mating bison is going to run away from something half its size? They don't have bison in Mexico or Spain.

Was at a bullfight in Madrid. It was brutal alright. When the bull first comes out circling the arena it looks intimidating and powerful. The bull totally lifts the front of horse up trying to gore it but because of leather armor no harm is usually done. Apparently many horses used to be lost before they used armor. The bull has usually bled out to a weakened state by the time the matador comes out. They killed 4 bulls. I grew up hunting and it still shook me a bit.

Me too I saw a corrida in Madrid.

I doubt that the bull bleeds so much as to be weakened.

Also someone asked if he died instantly when the toreador thrusted him with the final blow. Yes it went fast. Not super fast but it wasn t agony.
