He’s good at speaking on camera, which can be difficult to do at the pace he does it. His legal arguments aren’t that impressive TBH. Just boilerplate claims and defenses, with lots of petty/frivolous motions along the way. It’s like he copy/pasted from AmJur. His ethics are questionable too, notwithstanding his violent tendencies. His ambition presents a conflict of interest, as shown with that Swetnick saga (she may face criminal charges because he was so eager to publicize her specious claims). I would trust Avenatti with a trial, but not much else—no strategy, no research, no appeals, etc. He’s basically a meaner version of John Edwards.

He hasn't seemed effective lately, he actually comes off as more and more of a detriment by the day. Losing the stormy case was the beginning, beating wahmen is most likely the final nail in his pressboard coffin. Lol
 
It's not like I had any reason to expect this, but it's not exactly surprising. The major impression he's made on me is that he's an attention whore on a similar level to that of his most famous client.

Plus this guy has actually been arrested and bailed, so while he is innocent until proven guilty, there must be some substance to these allegations for the police to act like this. Unlike the Kavanaugh witch hunt which was an obvious politically motivated smear job form the outset.

Michael Avenatti is entitled to a presumption of innocence like everyone else. Protecting Constitutional rights means sometimes defending people like Avenatti. It also means we respect that presumption on principle—not merely from legal obligation. If Avenatti says he didn’t do it, fine. Let’s hear from the girlfriend and witnesses. IMO, people should wait until the evidence is out before taking adverse action against him on that basis. We do that not as a service to Michael Avenatti, but to ourselves, to our loved ones, and to the Western tradition which has protected our lives, liberty, and property better than any other in history.

That said, few are less personally deserving of sympathy than Michael Avenatti. This ass clown tried to ruin an honorable man with false rape accusations, all the while expressly arguing that we should discard the presumption of innocence in that particular case. That was barely a month ago. He has some nerve even attempting to defend his name now after what he did to Honorable Brett Kavanaugh. What a hypocrite. What a small, pathetic weasel.

So whether Mr. Avenatti beat this lady or not, his character is beyond redemption. If he has a shred of dignity, this will be the last we see of him.

He was sort of a presidential side show but at least now there is no chance of having to deal with another self serving lawyer in the mix.

Sure there will be enough of that already. I'd rather bang Harris than Avenatti anyway...
