    I find Woodley as painfully dull and characterless as a speaker/pundit as he is a fighter.The guy totally lacks charisma and like-ability...doesn't matter what shade his skin is.

    no, i disagree. let people say whatever the hell they want. they will vilify themselves with their own comments. people need to stop policing language. get over the fact that there are dumb people in this world who say stupid shit. you're never going to stop it, and you shouldn't try. am sick and tired of people thinking they're some kind of moral vertical for society, and they somehow are more virtuous than others. get the fuck over what others say.

    I think Schaub’s comments were idotic and obviously not well thought out but I’m a fan and Schaub has never shown any real prejudice toward black people.

    If anything I think it was an attack on Fox, a company that Shaub has had disagreements with in the past.

    Schaub’s comment do highlight the ignorance within the MMA community. But you can’t really expect the UFC’s core fan base of 18-30 year old white males to be sympathetic to issues pertaining to the Black American community. Ignorance is to be expected.

    How about you just fucking hire the best people for the fucking job is the god damn point.

    I don't need to sit through a terrible panel hired purely because they check off some race boxes...

    Hmmmmm?

    Let me guess you didn’t actually read my post did you? You saw my username and got triggered didn’t you?

    Bisping and Florian are also often on the panel. How do you know they weren’t taking a sick day? It was an idotic move by Schuab to bring up the race of one panel on one particular night.

    Literally no one had an opinion one way or another. It’s only an issue because Schaub made it one.

    My original point was that this is a non issue but it highlights the ignorance of Shertards like you.

    I'm not triggered that you are black...I'm triggered because you are an idiot. If Bisping and Florian are "taking a sick day" and this is our fall back panel...then yeah...that sucks. And the question needs to be asked..."how the fuck did THAT happen?"

    LMFAO.

    Don’t stress my man. Life is to short to get triggered anytime someone has an opposing viewpoint.

    I gotta ask how common it is that you go around play the victim card assuming people get upset because your black?

    What are you talking about my guy LMFAO. Go back and read my comments...slowly.

    You got triggered (by your own admission) by my original comment which I wrote to TS disagreeing with the premise of this thread.

    The whole situation is a non issue. But Schaub’s comments brought the idiots like you out of the woodwork.

    Christ I gotta fucking play by play this because you failed at following along?

    sigh...fine.

    Simplified, Shaub's comments were "the panel fucking sucks...and it looks like FOX is trying to check off some race and gender boxes instead of hiring TALENTED people to be on the panel. That was his point. Which is why you when you posted this;

    I responded with this;

    I am not going to be sympathetic towards a person who sucks at his job getting hired because he's black. Now this is different to not wanting a black person hired. Follow along chief. You are not going to get much sympathy from anyone assuming an untalented person getting a job over a talented person because of the race they were born into.

    - The fox panel was terrible. True!
    - The fox panel looked like it was trying to hit a bunch of racial check boxes. True! (now maybe it wasn't, but then the only other explanation as to why those people got chosen to sit there is because that's ALL fox has...is also a terrible joke in and of itself)

    Now this is the part as to why I asked how often you go through life assuming people get triggered because your black. (although I actually DIDN'T read your name or look at your avatar when I originally responded to you...I read what you wrote and responded to your words.) You could have been a post op trans Mexican female for all I cared. But, now follow along here...this is what you replied to me with;

    So then I glanced at your avatar and your user name and saw this...

    [IMG]

    "Sherdo's Offical BlackMan"

    Ooooo this idiot thinks that the mere presence of his blackness is a trigger??? No. You idiot. It's not. And why you would think it is, paints a picture that you feel the victim or the outcast for some stupid reason. (which makes me ask "just how often does this fool think this way during daily situations?") Like do you walk into rooms and think "oooo look at all these people triggered because I'm here and I'm black!"

    Let me spell this out for you;

    The problem was never that the panel was black. The problem was that they sucked and HAPPENED to be black. And Shuab was asking how the hell did those idiots get to sit on a panel and discuss MMA if not because of their race, because it certainly wasn't because of their skill.

    I responded to you, not because your fucking avatar name states your black. I responded to your words that your resident sherdog doesn't understand the "plight of the black man". While true, I'm not black and don't get the day to day struggles...I'm still not going to side with people getting a job even if they suck at it just so a company can feel good it hired you because they are black. And to be honest? You shouldn't either.

    That was Shuab's point. That's my point.

    LMFAO.

    Did you even watch the post fight show?

    All the fake outrage is hilarious. This wasn’t an issue until Schaub made it one.

    Most definitely and it really wasn’t my intention to cause an argument. My original comment was directed toward TS.

    In actuality you’re probably right, Fox is mostly trying to check off boxes on their diversity sheet.

    But I also believe that Woodley, Edwards, and Karen Bryan are just as qualified to do the job as Bisping and Florian.

    I just find it idotic that anyone could be this outraged about the race of the people on the panel on ONE particular night.

    The whole situation is a non issue.

    Well at the end of the day, most everything talked about could be labelled under “first world problems, bro”.

    But the unfortunate reality here is that identity politics and affirmative action is a big deal right now that does nobody any favors.

    And the question shuab was putting forth here was is fox guilty of this based off of whom they selected for their mma panel?

    Maybe? It would absolutley suck if that were the case. Cormier is a great choice. Woodely? Not so much.
