Evinger is one of those UFC fighters who was tested by USADA in another sport - wrestling. She was ranked number 2 in the US at 130 pounds back in the day. Kind of gives some legitimacy to Gina for tapping her out, not just a pretty face (Carano not Tonya).

I have seen Ladd train at her gym MMA Gold in El Dorado Hills, about 20 min from Sac. I knew she had a good record but her skillset in person was better than expected, she seems the type to be able to have laser focus and not get rattled by much which is of course key in mma.
