The “physical fit” guys that should go spar some bjj purples, active boxers (ie have fights, not just trained) or some mma competitors.
This isn’t a “ you ain’t nothing, I’m a fighter your a pussy” comment. When tough dudes come in and get tosses around, you can see that they are fucking mind blown. It’s a cool experience you should try at least once, even if you have no intention of training seriously. When I was younger a was a shitty drunk, but I haven’t been in a bar fight for probably 10 years now though.

On the other hand, you have some purple and brown belts that are bad ass in the gym, but you know for a fact that they would fall to bits as soon as somebody started smashing them in the face.
Rights now I’m pretty out of shape, I roll once or twice a week and hit the bag once a week. I’m still pretty confident that I could smoke most guys under 230lbs if they had never seriously trained. 50lbs+ weight difference is where I think chances would slide, but even then I have a shot.

I'm a karate blackbelt with quite a bit of fighting experience. I could probably do with some more strength training, but I'm 6'2'' and 180 pounds and in maybe the best condition I've been in cardio-wise (apart from martial arts, I run 5 miles a couple times a week and lift a little bit). I'm in my late 30'ies, though and way past looking for fights, I hardly ever go out drinking anymore. But I guess it's nice to know that if anybody threatened my woman or my kids, I could defend them.

Oh, I was also in the army 20 years ago for 10 months. I suppose I could remember how to fire a gun if civilization collapsed.

Hun Yuan. I learnt most of the Yang long form years ago but never practised and don't remember it. I really enjoy it. Great for balance, relaxation and concentration. You?

My heart would explode if I was in a two minute fight.

Brain jelly would shoot out my nostrils.

My lungs would burst into flames.

36 year old active duty military father of two

Barely in shape and on the weight gain from quitting all tobacco 4 months ago. On the plus side my cardio has never been bettet

5 years of wrestling, Nikyu in Judo, Blue belt in BJJ, that's been off the mats for 5-6 months.

Grew up shooting long guns with an expert M16 medal to reinforce that, pistol skills are borderline...I'll hit you, but you'll probably suffer before you die, because I like hollow points and will miss your vitals with the first few

All in all, I have no illusions.

If I don't end it early I'm in trouble.

What's funny is those are actually my real stats. The height is genetic, can't really take credit for that. But I am sub 20% body fat and have a 1300 total at 6'4 and 245lbs.

As far as fighting, I've been training my entire life. Did kickboxing, Thai fighting, BJJ for about 15 years now. 4 years in Marine infantry. 6 years as a bouncer. I'm not too worried.

The reason your wrestling sucks is 6’3 80 kg. Bones is the nickname of a 6’4 100 kg fighter. Get to at least above 90.

Nice! I had to look up your style as I have not heard of it but found it is Chen along with Qigong. Sounds very interesting! I have never practiced Tai Chi but do have the Yang long form on VHS for years but have never watched it to see. For some reason Sun style pulls me in it's direction although I don't know why...lol...going to read up more on yours as Qigong is something I do know about.

I'm in pretty good shape and decently strong.

I've played sports all my life and still play hockey, ski, play some basketball and baseball from time to time. Work out 3 days a week.

Used to train muay thai and bjj, but tore my labrum in my hip a few years back and had to rehab it, so quit training and never went back. Was never too seriously into it though and would go maybe a couple times a week. Still, great workout and would love to get back into it.
