Another person who doesn't get what I was saying at all and doesn't know what was in the video. Of course I didn't post a video about one friggin person and the point is that there are ton's of these video's. Just go look at Shapiro and Peterson protesters.

I only don't care about the alt right for the same reason I don't care about Antifa. They are small groups of nut jobs on both sides who have nothing to do with the video's I am talking about.

But these people don´t represent the left in it´s entirety like you seem to be claiming.. "ohh look at these vids why are the left like that" "please ignore all content about the right".. Outrage porn really is the soup du jour of the right.

Exactly why no one would be happy no matter how I presented it. It takes time to actually look at the video's and no one has any patience on Sherdog. I originally just wanted to leave up the whole video because there were so many examples of what I was talking about it throughout the whole thing. I figured people interested would watch it and people who aren't interested would just move on to a different thread. Instead people immediately started whining that they couldn't watch a short clip.

I wasn't claiming that but I am claiming that there are a ton of these people and I think that is terrible. I don't like that they ruin so many of these events and it's not like one little group of the same people run around and keeping doing it over and over. It's different leftists who happen to be there and so many of them act this way.

If people don't care to spend the time looking at the video that is certainly not on me. As I said before I don't think there is a way I could have presented it to get a much better reaction. My premise is that there are large amounts of Leftist's who act like children. People aren't going to react well to that no matter how I say it.

At some point the time commitment for a video in the OP becomes unreasonable to expect from most posters and I'd say an hour qualifies.

As I said before I don't think there is a way I could have presented it to get a much better reaction. My premise is that there are large amounts of Leftist's who act like children. People aren't going to react well to that no matter how I say it.

Exactly, the central premise is a partisan and polarizing one so no matter how you say it it won't get a great reaction. If I made a thread saying that large amounts of the right are racist and expected people to watch an hour long video do you think the right wing posters here would react well? No and they'd have good reason.

There is nothing unreasonable about it. Either you have the time and want to take it or you don't. As I said that is not my problem. But you can easily understand my points without watching the video or by only watching a smart part of the video.

It would be unreasonable if I was trying to force or harass people to watch it. I don't care if a bunch of people don't want to watch the video and as a result leave the thread without posting. That is not my problem.

I never said these people were the entire left but I see them constantly. I don't see much of the alt right other than some violent extremist video's. I don't see much of the alt right acting like this and I don't see much evidence that the alt right is anywhere near as big a group as these kinds of leftists that attend SO MANY of these speeches.

I don't believe the kinds of leftists in these videos are extreme. I think they are a large part of the left. I do not believe the alt right is a large part of the right. Feel free to try to change my mind.

At the very same time, you see no logical inconsistency with totally disavowing the obviously egregious examples from the Right - and this doesn't just include the alt-right, it also includes nutbags like evangelicals, tea partiers, etc. - instead looking for us to give you examples of 'normal' conservatives acting the same way far left nutbags who think there are 137 genders do. You're playing team sports and cherry picking your side to be the representation that reflects the ideal you have in your mind of your team, but you're judging the other side by a completely different yard stick. It's partisan hackery and intellectual dishonesty, although intellectual is much too strong a word here.

I have not excluded when evangelicals act badly but I will point out that I don't see a lot of similar behavior like in the OP vid of evangelicals. I don't know why you call evangelicals nut bags as if all of them are crazy or bad. That is just not the case.

My basic point is that the leftist nutbags you are referring to appear to be really common. In the vid of the OP the people acting so poorly and unreasonably are getting the most support from the crowd. It's not just a few weird people.

I did say in the OP that I am not about picking teams and defending that team. I find that to be lame which is why I didn't vote for Trump. I like to look at an issue and make up my own mind regardless of whether I agree with the right or the left. I tend to have really big issues with how the left acts which is how I ended up making this thread. I do not call the Right "my side". It's more that the far left drives me crazy most of the time.
