Are the female fans paying $65 for WMMA PPVs?

what WMMA haters still don't understand is that Invicta/WMMA fans aren't just women, but also men that aren't insecure enough to deny being excited about good fights involving 2 talented girls, ofc there's boring fights in WMMA but there's just as many terrible fights involving men

if you can't appreciate fights like Smith-Aldana, Gadelha-Andrade and Holm-Tate for example you're just a hater who don't really care or love the sport

Easiest way to pick a wmma shill: "insecure" and GIFS

Lol what are you even thinking.

Nope. That's why there's no such thing as an all female fight card. If they were even a relevant fan base, WME would attempt to have, at the very least, an entire Fox or Fight Night card dedicated exclusively to female fighters. There's absolutely no way it would draw a gate higher than 45 people, and the t.v audience would consist of 5000 sherdoggers waiting for a nip slip.
I rest my case.

Why ya posting pics of 13 year olds?

I don't like watching women beating on each other. it just feels wrong.
ok, that's a good argument and i get it, Fedor said something similar if im not mistaken

i totally disagree about it being "rarely technically or aesthetically pleasing" though, but that's personal and subjective, right? i can enjoy good brawls like Smith-Eye or heavy grappling contests like Davis-Carmouche, but i know some people are more "elitist" when it comes to skill

Not enjoying WMMA has nothing to do with bring insecure and everything to do with paying UFC prices for local show talent

Dude noone is paying $65 for a card these days

Its not elitist. Would you call someone who prefers watching the NBA to the wnba elitist? Terrible choice of words

Valentina for example is a better striker than 90% of UFC roster lol good luck trying to lure high lv strikers (from kickboxing) at your local show

<{1-1}>
Overseen, crocop, saki to name a few.

I’m just curious as to who is the driving force behind PPV sales that are headlined by WMMA.

The UFC has gone to Amanda Nunes time and time again to headline marquee cards like International Fight Week.

So my question is, are females really the ones dishing out $65 for UFC PPVs?
I also think the 'published' number of female fight fans is highly suspect. I imagine just due to the fact that a woman's name appears on the cable/satellite service bill for the PPV, WME will gladly automatically count as a female fan, even though it's more likely the son or husband who watches. If I was Dish or Comcast and saw invoices with names like Jasmine Sinclair, Nina Hartley, Vanessa Del Rio, or Bella Donna, you're damn straight I 'd count those as female fans for marketing purposes.

i'm not north american, i don't know the difference in skills between NBA and WNBA athletes so i can't tell ya, but in MMA i know the difference at the top lv isn't that much

I've read so many times the "I don't like to watch women beating each other". I wonder if this is an opinion shared by older fans who reminisce of a past when gender roles were defined in a more traditional fashion. It's not like women are fighting men, they're fighting other women. Let them bang.
