Are Russian drivers really terrible?

Russians are right up there along with Asians as some of the worst drivers I've ever seen.

You kind of have to wonder if they are over represented because it seems every single driver has a dash cam so they inevitably have more crashes on video. But then you wonder why do so many drivers have dash cams, is it because they're inherently bad drivers?

And then you see something like this and realize it's likely a bit of both.

I have a good buddy that is Russian . I asked about the cameras and he told me its a C.Y.A because people will fake getting hit and use the Russian legal system to take everything you own.

There are the insurance scammers in the US too. You almost have to have a dash camera and need one good enough to read license plates. Front and rear are almost required. Two at each end would be better.
