Are online Ads effective?

Online ads are just as effective (if not more) than traditional advertising. Why do you think it's so prevalent?

You might disregard 99 out of 100 ads, but it's a volume game. That one ad you do take notice of makes it worth it.

No they aren't. You know what is effective ? Podcast Ads. Seat Geek, Blue Apron, and MeUndies are like seared into my brain.
