54,000 at LA Galaxy stadium, 65,000 at the Atlanta stadium. For one match. Da fuq are you on about? MLS is one of the fastest growing sport in this country.
First of all the LA Galaxy stadium only holds 27,000, their average attendance is 22,000.
There's only TWO teams in the entire country that average more than 30,000 people per game and that's Atlanta and Seattle. The majority of the league averages NBA or NHL arena numbers in larger outdoor stadiums.
They have the smallest revenue and yearly attendance of any major professional sport in the country. They are nowhere near the NFL, NBA, MLB, or NHL
So even if it is the "fastest growing sport" doesn't magically mean it's not bottom of the barrel. It's 100% bottom of the barrel in American sports, which is what I said and what you're arguing against.
Look at the yearly attendance of the sports leagues in America for example
MLB - 73 million
NBA - 22 million
NHL - 21 million
NFL - 17 million
MLS - 7 million lol
Because MLS hasn't been around nearly as long as sports like those that have been around for 100s of years in this country and longer. MLS is only 23 years old roughly compared to football, hockey and baseball that have ties to the 19th century. Atlanta United is barely in it's 3rd season in the MLS and has 64,000 people on average attending matches. UFC can't even do that at a PPV in New York. Viewership is up, sponsors are coming in left and right and European stars are coming over and adding to the value of the league. You're painfully out of touch with 2017 and how popular soccer is in this country. Go back to your NFL network where you know something, this ain't for you, son.
and what does any of this have to do with MLS not being bottom of the barrel? It still is lol a quarter center after starting.....still BOTTOM.
Seriously, what are you even arguing? lol
