No.
Ah the ol' "I know a few people who do something so that means everyone must be doing it" thread. Always a classic
I think what you’re seeing is more reflective of a declining morality in society, not some sort of backdoor sexual revolution.
they, always have been the norm.
having sex with one person for 50 years is very *difficult.

Honestly though I think infidelity rates are a very hard thing to judge as they depend on honesty.
What I think we've seen in the US and UK especially is a decline in shame culture since the mid 20th century, people feel less likely to be ostracized by actions like infidelity so are more likely to admit to them. That doesn't automatically mean that we've seen an increase in these things though which previously would have been hidden far more. Increasing rates of divorce as well probably mean you have fewer people stuck in loveless marriages these days than in the past so less infidelity.
My girl says if she finds a blonde hair in my car, she'll cut my balls off. So I'm not taking risks.
It's the world you get when women have more say than guys.I’m a happily married father of 3 and have noticed a trend amongst my friends, conversations they have about others, people I’ve spoken with during work through my business and on holiday as well as seeing first hand and I feel there is a huge amount of couples/individuals who either habitually cheat on their spouse, have open marriages/swingers or have affairs with people (especially those in the same line of work or on holiday) am I blowing this out of proportion? Is it the same as it ever was? Wtf is going on?

The stuff needs to at least stay behind the curtain more. Women of the West don't love their husbands too often, because they got plowed way, way to much by way, way to many different guys to ever respect a man for marrying them. Plus, if a woman gets caught cheating, the man isn't allowed to even slap her. They will never say it publicly to foil their advantage, but women find this funny, and probably almost even sad. Hero-cops will save the day.
Guys cheat as well, and are changing with the times. People in the West get married too old, after too much whoring; men and women. I had a women that never cheated on me, but she turned on me in different ways because of her chemical imbalance. Now that I know 90% of women are a joke (I would have guessed 60%, before I got back out there) I realize I didn't appreciate her loyalty enough. It was rare.
In conclusion, with all the porn and bs, young people aren't associating sex with LOVE. Women have these primtive views on sex, like it's just acceptable drug use, when it used to be used to bond people together. That wasn't sexy enough, I guess. I guess gross, meaningless, "F me F me yeahh yeahh yeahh!" same crap over and over with strangers is somehow sexier? No.. It's not actually.
People have always cheated. This is nothing new. Most people marry the wrong person and of course they get bored and fuck someone else.
