Have watched Till's fights in the UFC and he looks good against the competition. When he started smack talking " I'm the best fighter in the WW divison. No, In the Entire UFC", after his last fight I just kinda rolled my eyes.

Now he's got his wish and is facing a named top ten fighter in Cowboy Cerrone. I'm thinking this is just going to be way to much for young prospect Till. I went and looked up Darren's record and the fighters he has faced in and out of the Octagon.. Here's some interesting facts:

Combined Record of Till's opponents outside the octagon is 51-49-1 . Out of the eleven fighters he faced 7 have losing records and 5 have winning records. Basically he faced .500 opposition.

Inside the UFC Till has faced and won against Four opponents who have a combined 13 total fights with the promotion. A record of 4 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws. Three of the fours fighters have been cut due to losses with the Co. Only 1fighter remains in the UFC that Till has faced, Bojan Velickovic who is 2-2-1. So far Till has faced .500 fighter at best with the promotion.

Along the way Till has compiled 2 decisions, 1KO and 1 draw in the UFC.

After looking at the stats and seeing the level of fighters Darren has faced in his impressive 15-0 run, I think this is too big a step up in competition. Yes Till looks pretty good against non elite level fighters. Cowboy is a totally different game.

Any thoughts out there?

What chances do you think Till has in this fight?
Do you believe he IS the next big thing in the WW divison?

Speak up folks what to hear all thoughts on this bout...

Yes I think it will be entertaining!!

If Cerrone is mind fucked and is feeling good, Till is fooked. Till will start spamming liver kicks, but Cerrone should chop him down.

Dude please just shut the fuck up

Cerrone is not some mythical figure at Welterweight

Till first round TKO

i just looked and it's like, "who? who? who? who? etc."

In this day and age 15-0 is very impressive, since the standard has raised considerably. We don't know how he will fare with Cerrone, but should be a good deal bigger, is younger and has sustained less damage.

Cowboy is a tough sob, and one of the best in the world, so it's a steep test for sure.

You can do the same with most fighters earlier records.

I think his chin is possibly cracked and should have taken more time off.
Let's hope that isn't the case, and I'll just put this out there: Till is not a KO specialist....

The thing that freaked me out a little about Till however was his size. He looks like a mid-sized middleweight.

His size and he's got pretty accurate hands in boxing distance

If cerrone is taking him lightly and treats him with contempt like I think he's doing then he'll get knocked out

I feel like you could make a list like this about any fighter before they become big time. I've been impressed when I watch him and Cerrone doesn't seem to prepare properly for half his fights

I'm not impressed by your performance!

lol

In all seriousness, if he gets through Cowboy I'll be surprised and impressed. Should be a good knock.
