LMAO these motherfuckers still haven't figured out that Floyd wasn't even trying during the fight. Dude literally was walking in a straight line with no head movement and back straight up. Had absolutely no respect for Conor.

well, the few pages i saw didn't point this out, so i will...

Conor was so intent on boxing technique ("am i standing right? am i putting my defensive hand in the right place? wait, what did coach say about footwork?") that the uppercut had virtually no power on it.

if he had thrown and landed that same punch in an MMA match - doing his own MMA footwork and being in his comfort zone - he might have knocked someone out with it.

furthermore, Floyd reacted as boxers do, went with it, so he negated any power it had even more.

i - and many of us, pundits and fans alike - never thought he'd land a clean shot. he landed two. i give him credit for landing the uppercut. TS should give him credit for landing it....and not take it unnecessarily further than that, like he did.

but it wasn't a KO punch by any stretch of the imagination, with or without big, little, small or no gloves.

The real game changer will be IF Conor is able to back Floyd up to the cage. May does a lot of work of the ropes because they benefit he phenomenal defense. Conor has better chances of catching him on the wall. Floyd won’t be able to lean as nearly as much in the cage as he does in the ring. Yeah the smaller gloves will only help Conor but there’s bigger variables going from ring to cage. With these stupid ass rules I still think Floyd spanks Conor but at least the deck isn’t as stacked in Floyd’s favor.

Floyd was definitely protected and Conor shouldn't have allowed that to happen. I hear now that it will be "modified" MMA rules if they meet again. Conor needs to wake the f*ck up and kick Money's ass, and hard.
Time for revenge. Conor gave a good accounting of himself during the boxing match, let's see Money quit hiding from the whooping he should get.

Conor landed some shots, just not enough of them. Now, it's Money's turn to fight by MMA rules. Or, just shut his pie-hole the f*ck up...

You are right, but now Floyd OWES Conor a fight in the cage by MMA rules. As I remember, that was one of the points behind all this. Conor got carried away with all the $$$ and foolishly got his bell seriously rung. Now it's time for payback, and payback it will be. Conor seriously hurts "Money" in an MMA fight. Seriously...

Uhhhh, do you watch or read much about MMA? UFC?? Conor would kick your ass if you called him "Scotish" to his face. He's Irish...

It's an interesting thought because if he had on small gloves the punch might have translated much better, since it may not have grazed Floyd's chest. One has to wonder if it was due to conor having that smaller glove size ingrained in his technique.

    Although I highly doubt it.

You are right, of course. Now I'm hearing that they are talking another "modified rules" fight. Bullshit. That is stupid and Conor should in no way let his ego get the best of him. "Money" has probably already blown through his money, so he should be hungry. The fight should be MMA rules, and that should be the end of it....

Or, there would be the possibility of "Money" breaking his hands, but that didn't play out.

This fight just goes to show how D rate UFC athletes are.

Conor was already gassed by the 4th round.

    Pathetic.

"Fact." What? All because 'n.diazismylife1999' says so?

Floyd was on maximum defense against Pacquiao and Pac still managed to stiffen Mayweather's legs. Fact.

Floyd walked Conor down and finished him. Fact.

Actually, I think you are right. Boxer's train with thin gloves, and this leads to them projecting their punch "through the target" when they wear heavier gloves. I think an MMA fighter would often punch "short" if he's not trained extensively with boxing gloves.
