He's basically a poor man's Diaz but with less technical boxing and more hittable. This fight would never go to the ground.

Cool thread bro, it's been made about 20 times since yesterday.

So a defending champ on a 13 fight win streak is a poor man's Nate Diaz...great point TS

You have to laugh at all the people who now think Max would beat Conor. It’s absolutely amazing. Amazes me now that Max outstruck Ortega, yes you heard right BRIAN ORTEGA, he now suddenly can match Conor mcgregor. Brian Ortega has some of the worst striking you’ll see in all of MMA. Of course Max is going to outstrike him and look good doing it!!

Let’s have a look at the bigger picture. Max hit Ortega with absolutely everything and couldn’t even drop Ortega once, in fact he didn’t even stop Ortega from coming forward. Conor has one of the best chins in the game, if he can’t put Ortega down how’s he gonna put Conor down. That means he would have to last 5 whole rounds with Conor.

Now look at how Ortega was landing with clean shots. Conor has much more accuracy precision speed and POWER than Ortega. Conor’s power at 145 is INSANE! Conor would land at will against max and it would be lights out within 2 rounds.

100 million percent Conor would beat Max quite easily.

It’s guys that take you down that give Conor a hard time, not strikers!!

He could beat him certainly, but I don't think he would "destroy" him.

No need to disparage either of them with petty and inaccurate criticism.

Max is astoundingly talented at creating targets in his opponent's guard, but I still think Conor outstrikes him (unless his mindset has been diminished).

Here we go again. McGobblerz crawling back out from under their rocks, ever so steadily.

Conor would have Max on his back foot AGAIN. Everyone Conor has fought that tried to come forward paid for it.

Diaz, a bigger, longer reached more durable guy taking harder shots from big guys than Holloway was able to bring it to MacGregor, but he got dropped a few times and got a messed up face.

Max is not coming forward,...he will defer to the harder, more accurate hitter.

Max still tends to throw like Werdum-Miocic...elbows high, left right, left right...and he only does that when he can take the shots confidently. With Conor in the ring,....forget it.

Conor has one of the best chins in the game,

Obviously this is a troll post.

This is the dude who panic wrestled because a volume puncher with virtually no power was punching his head in.

No doubt.

A two legged Conor would likely KO him within the 1st rd

+ now McGregor has the experience he fought Holloway in only his 2nd fight while Holloway had more than a few UFC fights at that point

This is the type of thread that gets bumped months or years later.

I think Max takes it.

Conor was clearly the better fighter in their first match, but Max has improved so much in every possible way.

Conor’s main advantages now would be in his overall power, but that didn’t seem to affect Holloway much in their first fight.

Conor took control of the first fight from the opening bell, and he did it with pressure, and a high volume output.

No way he out-pressures or outworks Max these days.

If McGregor doesn’t finish him by the second round, Max drowns him.

It is quite a show. Max still throws left-right-left-right comboes with his elbows high in the air running forward.....he will not be able to do that against Conor. Hell, I'll be impressed if he attempts it.
And he is not coming forward to "walk" Conor down either, lest he eat hard strikes nobody else has been able to give him.

No, and he didnt destroy anything in the first fight, it was a decision, not really a beating, current Conor could get beat up badly if he tries going back for a rematch, which he wont.

Agree with TS here. When Conor is healthy he KO's Max 10 times out of 10. If hes injured like he was when they fought first time it might go to desicion. Not likely tought if its 5 rounder.
