There is still room for else. Like the guy above said, im far more interested seeing Mousasi or Gunnar Nelson weigh in or face off, because of the way they are. Imagine Gunnar facing off Platinum... Sweet jeesus that would be cool. Stoic vs uncontrollable rage.

The fake acts people put are usually boring and you can see that even they dont believe in them. Also the stuff they spew out is shit.

McGregor didn't invent this, and it's not new. At most he made it popular again.

Ali was doing this shit in the 60s, and he didn't invent it either. He picked it up from a radio interview with a wrestler named Gorgeous George.

Never understood how people get hyped from fake drama bullshit. Just fake stupid tough guy acts and then hugs later on. People know most of them are fake, so how does it still generate excitement? I dont understand

I really prefered the Tito era.
He was a real douchebag, but at least it was fun.

Look up "Key & Peele Boxing Press Conference" on youtube. It makes todays landscape look pretty accurate.

In that gif, we witness Dana getting his ass kicked by a chair. That's why he started juicing....fear of chairs.

Some of it is horrific and you can see why they don't 'trash talk' but I'd rather see them bickering up on a dais, rather than going back and forth on Twitter.

They talk shit or dishespect their opponent when they do one on one interviews, so may as well throw them up their and have the MMA writers stir the pot by saying 'he said, she said <insert quote>

You could tell the only one's with genuine hostility towards one another was Jones and Cormier at the last one. The rest was sort of take it as it is.

I'd say im 50\50 on it .. the Cruz and tj hype was terrrrrrrrible. but for the most part i enjoy it ... Kevin Lee was a clown IMO .. Young black and rich ? lmao really. . an using the same lines as conor and saying how hes trying to be you ? C'mon man. But for the most part i enjoy the crazy stare downs an wanting to get at it

  11. I was gonna say the ladies were the worst. Especially Nunez. Broken English, repeating lines over and over and over and over and over and over and over. Joanna and the other girl were pretty bad too

Thrash talk is boring and repetitive. I try to just watch the fights and leave this form of entertainment for the kids and casual retards.

To be perefctly honest, ive ignored or brushed off just about all of it, except for a few tidbits here n there. These assholes have shook hands after their "grudge matches" way too many times for me to buy into it anymore. That said, i pass by many threads and stories of it, saying "yeah, yeah, yeahhhhh."

Same attitude i have about conor boxing threads.

Very rarely watch press conferences for MMA, they're pretty pointless in the end. But overall I could certainly do without a lot of the cringe inducing attempts at trash talking (i.e. 99% of them).

Everyone wants to be McGregor now and try and get paid but the antics are getting old. The Summer Kickoff had two punches thrown and a water bottle

I agree, trying to trick me into buying a ppv based on fake hype insults my intelligence.

GSP never talked trash and he sold a good amount of PPVs
