If you live in Lancashire that would be a reason, if not no idea. My father is a sports fan and he didn't recognise any mma fighter I mentioned but knows obscure shit from the 60s. Bisping couldn't sell Wembley imo, if he can, good luck to him.

Once mma specialists sorted takedown defense all my friends who watched mma said it was boring bullshit and wanted to see kos.

as sad as it is no one gives a flying fck about bisping. Most don't even know who he is. And it is generally accepted that Joshua is the best HW on the planet; he holds half the belts and has actually beaten a couple of decent opponents

You may get little snippets in the tabloids but that’s only since McNugget came in the scene.Most casual combat sports fans consider 2 men rolling about on the floor as gay. Boxing is and always will be far more popular over here.
I’m a fan of mike. He should’ve been recognised for his incredible achievement of winning the title, especially considering he’s been a joke figure for many fans for years. Him koing rockhold is one of my favourite sporting moments in recent years, but people in general over here don’t give 2 shits. Hopefully that changes going forward

You can't Kayak at Wembley, I checked. They actually get 250k spectators and millions of TV viewers each year. No idea why, because I don't actually watch it.

Either way, it's only once a year.

Bisping isn't ignored by the British media by the way. His fight in Shanghai has been reported by several newspapers, and his planned retirement fight in March has been too. That's not bad considering he is arguably the 3rd or 4th most well known MMA fighter in Britain.
