Anthony Dirrell vs. Denis Douglin on Nov. 17 - PBC on FS1

Good second round for douglin....douglin a pretty ordinary fighter, but good determination.

I got douglin up 2-1 after 3 rounds...dirrell just not very consistent....douglin outworkin him.

Fucking Dirrell has been hitting on the break all night.

Dirrell is in tougher than he thought he'd be. You can see it on his face in the corner.

Douglin is hitting him pretty much with every shot he throws.

3-2 douglin after 5...dirrell looks stronger..bringing the pressure. douglin looks to be fading but still outlanding dirrell.

Silly point deduction there.

The Dirrells will always take the easy way out if they can.

If they go to the cards and score round 6 dirrell wins by one point....57-56...the point deduction made the difference.

bad decision....if they scored only the first 5 rounds, douglin had it, 48-47.

Nah, he was playing it up in the corner.
didn't see him playing anything up...the ref saw the cut and called the dr. the dr. was the one who said to stop it...the decision had nothing to do with dirrell.

douglin gave a good account of himself....need to work on conditioning though...said he was gonna be in shape for ths fight but still looked kinda soft and started fading early

It sounds like another Dirrell gave another underwhelming performance. Color me shocked.

Not even close to what actually happened. That decision had EVERYTHING to do with Dirrel.

Dirrel played it up 100% in the corner and kept shaking his head and closing one eye and saying he couldn't see at all so he forced the stoppage all by himself. Then as soon as the fight is stopped his eye that wouldn't even open anymore is wide open and just fine. No more keeping it shut and pretending he's popeye, no more blinking, no more violent head shaking. He was perfectly fine when he was hugging his opponent and his opponents mom. The whole time they read the score cards he had both eyes wide open as well. He faked his way out of another fight and anyone who can't see that is a fucking idiot.

There were worse cuts in previous fights on the same card that went the distance because the fighters wanted to fight.

Do they Dirrell bros support the claim that being/not being a Fan/TV friendly fighter has some genetic component to it?

It is pretty impressive that 2 brothers have been able to accumulated the number of absolute shit, pro fights that they have.

Mr. Haymon, please do not waste any TV time with these 2 again.
