So I stumbled upon this story while snooping on some douche bag's Facebook.
The story has blood, nudity, dismemberment, death, political intrigue, terrorism, extortion, and girls with really hairy armpits. HBO in talks to produce series based upon these actual events(ok, so i made that up).
For those that guessed that this takes place in California, you get ten points. If you specifically guessed that this takes place in Berkeley, you get fifty points and an extra spin.
Ok, so let me first say that I am an animal lover. By that, I don't mean in a sexual way, or even in an "i love eating meat(I do, though), but in the way that I could not imagine living without pets, i can't stand to see animals killed or harmed, and when i encounter someone that harms animals, I can( or want to) get very violent very quickly.
But, as I already alluded to, i am acarnivorous and love animals in that way as well.
But these douche nozzles take things way too far. This thread is about these activists protesting a small butcher shop several times a week, trying to drive them away.
The group is called direct action everywhere. Their slogan seems to be that "it's not food, it's violence." They would get naked, cover themselves in fake blood, and harass customers. Eventually, the owner caved and agreed to put up a large sign discussing animal's rights:
“Attention: Animals lives are their right. Killing them is violent and unjust, no matter how it’s done.”
This particular butcher believes in humane treatment of the animals, and using all of the animal so nothing goes to waste. But instead of targeting whole foods(their favorite target) with their aggressive tactics, they go after this small time butcher that seems to be as responsible as possible.
If you check out the last link, it is the homesite of this group. They have three videos that I watched. Some disturbing stuff in there. Both the way the animals are treated, and what these ass clowns do to push their agenda on everyone else. Their goal is to make Berkeley meat free by 2025. They swarm into restaurants, blocking access to actual customers. That shit pisses me off majorly.
They also have some interviews with what seems to be Their leader. Spoiler alert:he did not have any friends growing up except animals.
Anyway, that is the background on these fools. Now, for some fun. What would you do if you found yourself going into a chick Fil a and you could not get to the counter to order? What about the butcher place?
For starters, i would chow down on murder burgers right in front of them. If they tried to stop me from ordering, I would be tossing some hippies about. Maybe a few meat bombs, ground beef baseballs, or some salmonella rockets(raw chicken). How about you?
