Anderson was never a Chute Boxe/Pride fighter.

To me the most exciting cage fighter of all time when he wanted to be. At least he defended the belt and you knew the champ was the best in the division.

That's Michael Jackson ya goof!

Try Marco Ruas if you want a well rounded pioneer from that time.
Yeah but nobody trains luta livre, or adopted the luta livre philosophy into MMA. Which is what Ruas trained.
Which means he didn't pioneer anything... At all.

MT/BJJ is the prototype for, what is still the standard today, every Brazilian MMA fighter out there.

And I partly agree with you

also Anderson should BE DQ'd from have anything to do with chute boxe after coming with a shotgun and waiting for master rafael

THIS was a good video though @CereserBr

Wandy training with Andy for the Cung fight at kings

Never mind the fact that he trained at Chute Boxe and fought in Pride, his entire persona and fighting style are tailored completely after Jose Pele Landi-jons.

great thread TS, hopefully they put it on the sherdog front page so people can see the quality of post that are in the forums
