Matrix Anderson was the bomb
Ah I love this argument. Sp because he beat him in the rematch, it didn't happen? But if it was Anderson that got caught, you'd still be shitting on him for it.
You were talking shit about Anderson vs Lutter even though he finished him but GSP gets finished by Serra and it's ok becausehe beat him in the 2nd fight...
Anderson DID get caught. By Chonan. You noob.
GSP attacks, solves and stops his opponent's offense. He's a pressure fighter
Anderson runs, waits and hopes for a counter. He's a counter fighter.
Anderson's career is fantastic in a 4 minute highlight and you don't need to know anything.
GSP's career is most impressive if you follow MMA and have watched a lot. You're not going to grasp GSP's science in a highlight reel, his greatness is in the full body of work, not in flashes.
Yes, I'm the noob for taking shit about Anderson who finished his reality show opponent while GSP got finished by his, and then defended him because he won the rematch.
Learn to pick your battles. If you're a GSP fan, don't talk shit about the Lutter fight because of Serra
Lutter is historically a great round one fighter with great BJJ. Silva has been kept on his back previously.
Serra is not a big puncher, and GSP hasn't shown a history getting dropped by big punches. Serra caught GSP and won. Nobody believes that could happen several times in a row. The second fight showed Serra couldn't win a inch of the fight.
Let's pretend these fights happen 100 more times
I think it's likely Lutter takes the first round from Anderson, then gasses out and loses. Both have have a history of doing this.
I think it's likely Serra never takes a round from GSP ever again. GSP has a long history of this.
GSP got caught twice. By Hughes in a submission and by Serra w a shot to the back of the head. He avenged both.
Other than Penn 1 and then Hendricks, an argument cannot be made for him even coming close to losing a fight. That can’t be said for Anderson. Anderson was losing to Lutter lol. He pulled a submission to win the fight, but that doesn’t change the fact that a mid-tier Guy was having his way with him.
I've been watching and following MMA for over 10 years and they're both equally impressive to me.
For sure, I think it would be difficult for anyone to disagree with that
But we're talking boring and that's subjective. It's about personal opinion and values. Nobody can really be wrong here.
I would rather watch a pressure player over a counter player in any sport 90% of the time. I'm also aware that means nothing. It's just another opinion.
I wasn't a fan tbh.
because it's already true.
GSP #10!!!! Celebrate it.
Silva also has more freak / can fights than GSP
- Nick Diaz
- Jeremy Horn
- Lee Murray
If it's true then why do you feel so damn insecure about it?
I don't. You are the one who can't see, say, and Anderson thread without trolling it like a rabid dog.
You are monotonous in your ridiculous quest. GSP is overrated and does not rank up to the level of Fedor, Anderson and Jones. This makes you shake in anger, fear and hatred.
That wasnt Andersons prime.
GSPs entire career is beating guys who struggled vs a chubby LW.
Why don't you think that was Anderson's "prime"? Because the mainstream UFC fanbase didn't know him yet?
And what does the next part even mean?
Go check the amounts of likes for this
because it is true.
But he did take a round and he finished GSP. No matter how many times in a row you think GSP would beat Serra, he still has that loss.
Anderson had double knee surgery prior top the fight and still finished Lutter. Does it matter if Lutter won the 1st round? Not at all.
Sure thing, pal
