Yeah, but who's gonna kick Mason and Aiden's asses? Jayden, Tanner, and Jaxon?

Not likely. I think schoolfights are slowly going to become a thing of the past.

This would be the end of football. It would be a totally different game w/o pads.

Meh, every sport in its current form is a bastardization of what it used to be. Not saying it would be better or worse; just saying it would the sport more CTE-resistant.
You're right, though, that it would be a different game. But I, for one, don't really have a problem with watching better-conditioned athletes play a faster-paced style of play.

In bed with your bitch, watching game of thrones,
People have been saying this for like almost 10 years now.
Just because these scrawny hipster couples say stuff like "my kid will NEVER play football", when their kid is going to grow up to be 5'8 vegan with a blood disorder and scoliosis doesn't mean the actual pool of Jerome's are going to have their parents shy away from it.

To be an NFL player you need to be in a top .1% of athletes either in your skill level (the Bradies and Mannings) or just a freak athlete who can somehow stay relatively undamaged through your school career. So yes, I thin .1% of the population will still be good enough to play this sport, ts, and you're an idiot if you don't realize that.

Aiden is Irish but if you don't speak Gaelic don't even think about using that name FFS.

FWIW there are a lot of girls the same age as my kids with the names:

    - Kaeli
    - Kylie
    - Kaela
    - Keelee
    - and a couple of other variations that confuse the piss out of me.

The sport won't disappear, obviously. I don't think anyone is seriously predicting that. Shit, if boxing hasn't disappeared, no way football will.

The talent pool will become a LOT smaller than what it currently is. The big ass Jeromes from the hood and the big ass Blakes from the farm will still play, but the few upper-middle class dudes will almost all disappear. A lot of the middle class dudes will as well.

There is a reason why rugby teams hire wrestling coaches.

Yup. International talent picked up a lot of the slack though.

I think that as American talent slowly decreased, Asia, Latin America and Europe went up. If you look at the P4P or champ lists of now compared to 20-30 years ago, there's a lot less Americans.

Obviously that's not going to happen with football so we may be living through the last golden age of talent there.

Majority of NFL players come from broken home lives and use football as a physical/mental outlet (there lucky if there parents even acknowledge there existence, let alone care enough about brain damage).

It'll stay huge, maybe continue to drop a bit but still the biggest sport in the US. You'll just see more and more thug types playing, the smart ones with options will go elsewhere.
