Gus had no problem stopping Daniel Cormier's takedowns. Realistically if Gus put on a little of muscle and moved up to Heavyweight he'd easily be a top 5 guy, he has an 80in reach and is 6'5. If the striking power translated he'd be set, he already has a speed, technique and conditioning advantage over virtually everyone in the division. I could see him chewing a lot of the top Heavyweights up.
