Very well could be. Don't forget about Lando/Ferguson. And Ferg is a frontrunner to win the title. Perry is still fringe top 15-20. It's not like he's stepping in to 170 to fight Wonderboy or Masvidal. His biggest challenges are that he normally fights at 155, and 3 days notice is tough when you are fighting someone who had a full camp to take on Thiago Alves.

The biggest problem is Alex is a 155er who dabbles higher. He better work that Drysdale Black belt game quick IMO.

Good to sign a smaller weight guy on such short notice. Won't be all dehydrated trying to lose 30 pounds in 3 days. Will be fighting at a natural weight with little to no cut. Might be good for him actually.
