Stephens wasnt even done, he was defending and hanging in.

That is one of the worst stoppages i ever seen.

I think the stoppage wasn't great but Stephens was badly hurt. Hardly a "terrible" stoppage.

he protested straight away. did you not watch the fight?
 
I get the stoppage, but I just hate the inconsistency so much. They get let one fighter get wailed on for minutes and don't stop it, others get stopped as soon as they are down and take some unanswered strikes on the ground.
 
He quit, then pretended to be upset to save face.

Have to agree here.

Stephens was hurt BUT making the effort to work.
 
He was defending...until a little hammerfist to the body caused him to turtle up. Clearly he couldn't take another shot in the liver, and would have abandoned defense of his head to protect it. The ref made the right call.
