According to science, y'all stupid.

Dumb cucks is better.

And one kind of explains the other. At least I think it does but I am too dumb and deficient of testosterone to really take a stand on it.

thats rich coming from a "scientist"... these are the same people that are dumb enough to believe the world is over 6,000 years old and dino's were real...

Or maybe smart people don't spend their time doing stupid fucking tests and are working while dipshits looking for easy money are signing up for these clinical research trials.

And since the test was conducted in Norway, I blame their incestuous population of 5 million people inbreeding for a fall in IQ.

You don't have to be "smart" nowadays, you just have to know how to reach in your pocket and operate google.

Never understood some of these people who brag about all the facts they have bunched up in their heads, when I can google the same shit in a matter of minutes.

Knowledge is power, but now everyone has knowledge in their pockets.

So we're literally a bunch of dumb bitches?

Scientifically speaking

good trade off for easily accessible porn imo

I'm still more smarter than the lot of you!

One of the few times it's good to be old!

Here are my theories on why.

1. Stupid people used to die all the time before passing on their stupid genes. But now everything has warning labels and companies have to take responsibility for every idiot's safety.

2. Stupid people are having more kids because smart people only have as many as they can handle (like in Idiocracy).

3. Technology enables people to be mentally and physically lazy. Remember back in the day when you had a bunch of your friends and family's phone numbers memorized? Nowadays people can't even memorize their own because they don't have to. Their brains aren't being exercised.

4. Schools, having been disappointed with the decreasing number of graduates, decided to lower the standards, so people don't need to become all that educated anymore. Even the dumbest people can get high school diplomas, and any idiot with enough time can get a bachelor's degree in something useless.

5. Zer. Whatever can't be explained by the first 4 are probably Zer's fault somehow. Damn you, @Zer!

Once information became so conveniently available, it became too available, and no one wants to actually try and get it. They just want immediate answers. 50 years ago, people waited weeks to years for answers, or got them themselves. So they went to library and did research. Now, headlines are enough for this society. No one actually wants to make sure what they're reading is true or factually accurate. Just as long as there is headline out there that supports their argument, they can get back to their reality tv where they "don't have to think".

side note: anyone who says they watch reality tv because they "don't have to think" while watching it, really doesn't understand how easy it is to think, and are just repeating what they heard from someone else to convince themselves that it's okay to watch junk. Because watching a 30 minute comedy or hour drama can be just as easy to watch, and you actually get a moral at the end of it that has some meaning. It can be as easy as "it's okay to lose friends", something a 6 year old can completely understand. That's not hard thinking, but somehow reality show viewers love building up the idea that anything not reality tv related is hard thinking. They just don't like to try easy shit. Thinking is passive.

side note 2: same goes towards reading. once you know how to do it, it's a fucking breeze. But people still "don't want to think". Yay for the future!

That's our neighbors, family, and friends. We fucked.

This is kind of a blessing. Because I do remember certain people that thought they were smart just because they remembered a bunch of stuff they read.

But now that information is easily accessible, intelligence is more about understanding concepts, and also being able to separate good information from bad since the internet has more of the latter.

Years ago I used to joke about that, having loved the movie. Unfortunately the joke now appears to be on us.
