Mousasi > Whittaker
Should be mousasi vs romero for i belt
But but but BELLATOR!!!!
Kidding aside, good for him & UFC
Nice. It's funny watching guys who were never quite elite rise through the ranks after USADA.
Phew, that's a huge relief.
Now the UFC is starting to get it, it seems. Not sure why they didn't get it when Rory's contract expired.
Kaz, for months now you've been doing the relatively thankless job of posting all the most recent news with appropriate tweets, links and text. at first the bold text annoyed me, but i eventually got used to it
thank you and keep up the good work.
Mousassi left a title shot on the table...
I mean... he had all the leverage he needed through the contract negotiation, and it ends up with whitaker?? damn
Bellator pays more than UFC tho
As soon as UFC tonight cast said Gegard would be in studio next Wednesday (like I told everyone in another post), contract was a done deal..
Also, like I said, If Bisping doesn't fight gsp or Romero in mid-summer---Romero Mousasi will be announced for interim (it really should be for actual title and gsp and Mike could fight for the demoted interim whenever the fuck they want
# enough is enough)
you crazy? fucking Romero can't even get a title shot. you have to be a 170lber, a Diaz, or a 45yo to get a title shot at 185 these days.
Romero is ahead of him. Not to mention they most likely offered him a deal that guaranteed big money if he won the belt. At this point in time that's a gamble worth taking for him.
I believe you are joking, but just in case, i was refering to the yoel vs whitaker interim fight (@method115 )
MOOSE is back!
Maybe because Rory went out losing his last few fights, while Mousasi has won 7 of his last 8?
cant wait to see the GOAT return
Starting to get it?
Every negotiation varies.
There was never a time that UFC did not weight the options of ROI on a fighter.
obviously they felt was GM asked was worth it & not Rory.
I'm a Rory fan. The grapes are still sour.
It seems to me the UFC is picking and choosing. They will pay for some people but they aren't going to over pay for someone. Around that time Rory also had a fight in Canada that he was the main event. If I had to guess the UFC didn't do well enough to see a reason to invest so much into Rory.
If Rory would have done amazing in Canada they probably would have fought to keep him just for that reason.
That I get & props for being honest.
TBH ... I thought the Canada thing would keep him in UFC, but I have no idea what UFC thought he was worth & why.
