All the "points" you made in your post could be written out to be worthless in 5 seconds. They are a meaningless difference.

Oh, dad builds an ingenious speaker system to distract the monsters?

Guess what, a nasty storm in the second act blows out the electricity and destroys the speaker set-up.

They are now back to square one, it didn't change a thing. See how that works?

Again, quit trying to be a clever script writer. It's not your strong suit.

The child WAS attended to.

Nope. He needed to be by the parent's side 24/7 for it to make sense. And him walking 5 yards behind his sister is unacceptable. The interesting thing is that they even used those two "bad" decisions as story elements for the family dynamic. The daughter felt guilty and put the blame on herself. The parents felt guilty and talked about what they should of done differently.

Not many horror movies will have the characters address what some would consider bad decisions, and then use that to push a major theme of the film. In this case the theme being family, and what parents would do to protect their children.

I feel weird even responding to these guys. Theyre bitching about the smallest shit they know nothing about.Weird

Its ok not to like but this like a retard telling me why 2+2 is 5. and then they keep repeating themselves.

So your idea is, don’t even bother including smart things in a movie, because then you’d have to actually write conflicts that could arise after them? Just keep it simple and dumb. Great stuff here, you’re a regular Aaron Sorkin.

No he didnt. The dad was out doing other things while he was with the mom. It made perfect sense that there is no way that you could even keep your kid quiet.

In 90 days youre gonna know how to survive monsters hahahah

Everything in this movie is smart. Youre not smarter than the writers because you dont even sound smart on sherdog

this is different, very diffenent. Youre bitching about kids and the movie depicts very realistically. You dont have kids quit bitching about stuff you dont know about. The fact they made it 89 days with kids is crazy but they didnt make it 90 because of kids.

Im really baffled by the nitpicking of the dumbest shit youre wrong about. Youre never going to keep kids quiet

This post may have achieved Peak Dumb.

It actually makes the movie look smart now, so if that’s what you were going for this whole time, well done.

how have these aliens been able to decimate the population of the planet when they can be taken out with a shotgun? or when their weakness is high frequency sound? only one family was able to discover this weakness? not DARPA or dozens of defense contractors? So these aliens are really good at taking out tanks and armored vehicles?

I'm skeptical of anything labeled horror that is PG-13.

I don't think Petey understood your post.

Seems that the world was taken out very quickly and the shotgun only happened because of the frequency

i'm having some difficulty with that premise though.

i think it would have worked better if it was a supernatural horror movie instead of alien invasion.

how was the world taken out so quickly? these blind aliens have the ability to take out helicopters and jets?
