well yea because soccer players train for cardio whereas NFL players train for burst/power. Ronaldo can probably run 5 miles faster than Usain Bolt, doesn't mean anything though, lots of normies around who can run a fast mile but are terrible athletes, go look at any high school cross country team
You are devaluing cardio as a component of athleticism. It is just as important as speed or explosive strength. People with great cardio are just as athletic as people with great strength.
