A 2017 Ford GT sold for 1.65 million dollars

I’m interested in the Cena lawsuit. I’m not sure you can dictate what someone does with your product once you sell it to them. Should be an interesting property right case.

Back when I lived in Litchfield Park, AZ (2008)... I would pass one on my way to work... I still wonder who drove it, as its not like some rando would ever get one.

That's just a beautiful car.

car dealer or insurance broker?

it's nice to know someone's nutty enough to drive their (250?) GTO hard. How much in repairs is that gonna be?
This happened years ago. The repairs aren't the issue. Restorations by the biggest best shops won't cost in excess of 750k usually (unless it's a big prewar car or something really odd) regardless of the model. It's the same amount of work to repair a 1m car as it is a 50m car.

The problem is cars that have been in accidents are normally less component original and thus less desirable. If the date happened in an accident in period in a race, not the end of the world...if it happened in aodern traffic accident it's a huge problem.

Yes, it was a 250gto from the 60s.

I don’t remember if it was Ferrari or Lamborghini that sent Deadmau a cease and desist for having a Nyan cat wrap on his car.

Personally you can buy at least 5 other cars for that price or less that are way cooler.

I guess it's a good investment car though

That's 918 Spyder price and the 918 will walk all over it

There’s no way that’s enforceable.

They sign a contract saying they won't resale until a certain date.

Right, but I don’t see how that’s enforceable. Once it becomes yours, it’s yours.

I mean you can sign an agreement with a multi billion dollar corporation and then try to fight it in court. Seems like it would be easier to just do what you said you would do.

These agreements are hardly a new thing and I'm quite sure a company like Ford is lawyered up. They probably know more about what is and isn't enforceable under law than John Cena. You buy it you own it free and clear sure sounds like common sense, but that isn't really how the law works.

I doubt they have people signing completely unenforceable contracts. They're not stupid.

nice car but i think i'll pass.
i'm happy with my collection.
got the zentorno, adder, vacca, entity, infernus, t20, osiris and a bunch of others.

I’m interested to see how it plays out in court.
