915lbs DL @210lbs

Not bad for a guy who skips leg day.
And uses a hook grip.

He looks kind of small from his videos where you're watching him from the front, but dude is very TST.

Yeah but look at the vid of him as a teenager in this thread. He was thin as a rail and still had an unbelievable pull for that size/age.

A lot of huge deadlifters in the lighter weight classes are like this. You're like "Oh, he's not that jacked for a guy moving that much weight." Then, you see their backs/posterior chains and it becomes more clear.

And, to be fair, the guy just isn't that massive. I mean, he competes at 198 and says he's ~210 in his training videos. That's not a "big" guy.

Anything smaller than a Shaw isn't worth caring about.

His build and style reminds me of the legendary deadlifter Bob Peoples, who DLed over 700 at a weight of 181!

I'm mostly surprised to see that MatterOverMind still visits Sherdog occasionally.

Beefy lifting.

Man though, I wish I could get away with a 3 inch ROM.

Pretty amazing. He has interesting bio-mechanics- arms practically reaching down to knees, long tibs/shortish femurs, short torso. Definitely born to pull.
