I'm very lucky to have seen Budgie play twice. Both times with Burke Shelley, Steve Williams and Craig Goldy. The last time was about eight years ago and the could still hang with any band in the world.

The Fall is usually more punk, but hard rock is a loosely defined subgenre anyway. Songs tend to span various genres and subgenres.
 
Jade Warrior aren't a hard rock band, more ambient chilled out kinda combo. However this song is a time where they ventured into the hard rock style complete with Hendrix inspired intro.

Here is Robin Trower when he was in Procol Harum. He wrote this after hearing that Hendrix was dead. It's mostly instrumental and not really hard rock but there is plenty of tasty guitar.
