Honestly at what point do you realize that national is the only way ? It was going up before obamacare , obamacare cant control it , and the republican plan was even worse. This doesnt seem like rocket science to me and yet here we are.

It would seem to me that this is a much more complicated problem than it needs to be and the only reason for that is we are tying ourself in a knot for insurance profits ....

How bout we do something like this ...

No one or there employer has insurance anymore so whatever you were paying you get to keep .... if your employer was payin it they get to split the difference and give out half the cost as a raise and keep the other half so far everyone has more money now right ? Next we raise taxes like 2 percent ... More than likely will still cost less than a huge insurance premium so we are still doing good right ? How bout for some further funding we legalize marijuana and slash prison by a bit. All of a sudden we have a healthcare plan that covers everyone , costs us all less , and probably stimulates the economy from people having more cash at the end of the month. Why are we not doing something like that instead of whatever the fuck that was they were trying to pass last night ? At what point does this become about whats best for us as a people and not about what is most profitable for a few ?

Now give me 7 years to think about this and plot and Im sure I could really come up with something great ....
