New survey by Kaiser Family Foundation determined vast majority of Americans want to keep Healthcare but fix it.

They don't want the Republicans to repeal it out of questions what happens afer it seems.

It really looks like most Americans are not sure Republicans are thinking out of their best interests.

Republicans won 1000+ seats and Trump won 33/50 states with the promise of repealing Obamacare, that speaks louder than any poll

Politicians can't do for you what you should be doing for yourself. If they try, they are always stealing other people's money.

No they won these seats by promising to bring jobs back to the US. They tied heathcare to the lack of new jobs. They also said TPP was going to further destroy jobs.

See the message here jobs, jobs, jobs and Democrats completely failed at selling an economic message to lead to jobs.

Democrats seem to keep failing at and billionaires have been plowing millions into local races.

What's happening now is people are starting to figure out that Republicans healthcare plan going to mean much higher costs not lower.

Nether system by the current market based model going to contain drug costs. Drug prices are the biggest part of the issue but both parties take tons of money from the same people. These are the big drug companies and the US is not going to pressure them.

EDIT: opioid addiction is example of out of control situation. People become addicted to them thanks to prescriptions.

People got a taste. Imagine if we had single payer. How hard would it be to get support from the public to repeal it?

That's because when Obama was in charge, their message was jobs had already been created anything outside of that was right wing propaganda. The Democrats played themselves

The ACA is and always has been a failure. Making one insurance plan for everyone in the country was one of the dumbest ideas ever. Now we have deductible so high people can't even use their insurance. I don't want it fixed I want it put in the shredder all 2,000 pages.

Apparently 500,000 people have died from Opiod overdoses/reactions since 2000. Crazy.

...and somehow after all that winning they still can't repeal Obamacare.

Not defending Congress at all, doesn't change the fact democrats got slaughtered on Obamacare.

They really didn't. Obamacare's popularity has been rising and regardless of the GOP's promises to repeal it is clear that it was not a deciding factor for some time. This latest poll is simply more evidence to that fact.

You guys have convinced yourselves through propaganda polls that America loves Obamacare yet you have been getting slaughtered in elections since it passed. 33 states, 1000+ seats, control of house, senate, and WH speak louder than a AJC poll.

I think Republicans were good at selling that the ACA was adding not lowering costs this is somewhat true but their reasons were not honest.

They convinced people let us in office we will create jobs and lower job killing healthcare costs.

It was a blatant lie to win house and Senate seats on a state and federal level. They really had no idea how to lower costs because of a free market hammering drug costs and unnecessary prescriptions.

Top ito off MRI''s for foot injuries. Till we contain out of control health care spending insurance will continue to climb no matter what you do.

Republicans plan was going to cause costs to skyrocket and cause 22 million people to lose their coverage.

This really was not the way I am sure Republicans wanted to sell their plan.

how do you know how they won? Did you vote for Donald Trump?

If that idea lets you sleep at night. Thing is there have been more issue discussed in election then just Obamacare.

Seems to be a disengenuous presentation of the polling.

This poll question suggests that 58% of respondents ultimately want a repeal (23% didn't like the particular bill and 35% wanted the repeal passed as-is)

What is most surprising is the fact that 36% of Dems want ACA repealed.

Except for the fact that the moment Trump got into office, the Republicans and Trump engaged in a spectacular showing of their asses, showing they had nothing whatsoever. It's weird how opinion changes when people realize you were bullshitting them......

There are so many different groups who want Obamacare repealed and replaced, but few of them want the same replacement. Current situation isn't that surprising.

If you paid attention to the serious critics of Obamacare when it was being rolled out (not the guys who were just screaming about being put to death by the govt), they weren't so much criticizing the general direction of healthcare reform. They were criticizing the fact that Obamacare is clearly a stepping-stone program that was never meant to last, but millions of people will become dependent on that stepping stone and it will end up locked in place.
