Max Holloway has beaten 5 people in the top 15, 4 of them in the top 10.
Khabib has beaten 3 people in the top 10
Woodley has beaten 4 people in the top 10
Whittaker has beaten 5 people in the top 15, 4 of them in the top 10

The real best 185'er has beaten more top 10 opponents than anyone in the UFC.

Yoel Romero wins over Jacare, Weidman, Rockhold, Brunson, and Tavares. 5 wins over top 10 opponents and should be 6 with Whitaker if he wasn't robbed

I'm not a big Romero fan, but this is hard to argue with. He just needs to work on weighing in as a middleweight.

Also, weren't Kennedy and Machida top 10/15 when Romero beat them? Or are we talking about wins against guys currently at the top?

It's more accurate to gauge someone's strength of schedule by taking account what their rank was when they fought. Max has beaten 8 ranked fighters in a row starting with Cub. They might not all bbe title defenses but this is coming close to Aldo's ranked win streak.

Hate to be that guy but conor....max, aldo, nate, mendes, and poirieR. Eddie just left or he would be 6

Holloway is a goddamn amazing fighter. He is on his way to goat status...and not just FW goat, but GOAT fucking goat.

Conor wouldn't make the championship rounds against today's MH.

When Aldo defeated Alexandre Nogueira, he was ranked. So while all 15 of Aldo's WEC/UFC win streak victories weren't ranked, a large number of them were. Max is looking damned impressive atm, but what Aldo did was unbelievable.

Since when are Brunson and Tavares top 10?

Sherdog did have Cub in the top 15 so counting A. Nog and his streak with Cub he has 12 ranked wins during his win streak. I still have Aldo as the FW goat but Max is getting there if he gets a few more title defenses.

Brunson is currently #8, after falling from #6. Tavares is currently #10 and was probably ranked higher than that before losing his last fight.

GSP who is the 2 division WW & MW champion of the UFC has had his last 15 fights against top 10 competition. That is assuming Mayhem Miller wasn't top ten WW. He fought the champion or number one contender in his last 12 fights.

no idea mate, this thread is retarded. for some guys we'll look at their top 15 wins and for others, their top 10 wins
