Edson Barboza and Dan Hooker absolutely deserve a bonus. The ufc knows that they probably couldn't publicly endorse this fight with the arguable negligence but these guys deserve something.

Guess Dana needs that 50k for snow in his driveway this Christmas.

They said that Dana followed Hooker to the locker room . Hopefully that was to hand him some money.

In fairness, the prelim fight was more competitive and produced a standing KO.

If anything they take money away for not delivering exciting fights. With UFC under WME rule, the backstage bonuses are long gone...

No, there is tons of data to support the fact that all fighters received $1 billion fight bonus tonight just like all the data that supports all the previous “locker room “bonuses.

I always had my doubts about these bonuses or at least the size of them.

Did they ever exist? Probably in some sense but likely not to the extent Dana made it seem.

Fighters like Jim Miller have spoke up about bonuses in the past as have a couple other fighters. They're usually not huge amounts of money, maybe like 10k and it doesn't happen often.

They still exist.

Since WME has taken over a locker room bonus now consists of:

one pair of Reebok training shoes, a Reebok t-shirt, 3 friends and family coupons for 20% off your entire purchase for online orders.
