Does UFC do fight week weight checks on the fighters because
the reason I ask is fighters have stuck weight cuts getting hospitalized
or passed out getting ruled medically unfit or fights getting canceled
when someone is too heavy few days out of weigh ins.

A few guys have gotten ruled out by the commission during fight-week, so there's some of process but I don't think there's an official UFC policy

Wouldn't surprise me if they did. Especially for huge fights and/or guys who missed weight previously.

I think that if UFC is serious in moving the sport closer and closer to mainstream, should deal with weiggt-cutting, instrad of avoiding it, or accepting it as a “necessary evil”.

I think, for now, they leave that up to the local athletic commissions.

I wish they weighed everybody throughout including on fight night and released the numbers to the public. It's also funny how they let fighters miss weight 3+ times before they force them to move up. Dana says "there's nothing we can do about weight cutting" like it's impossible to get rid of it. They just don't want everything to be shaken up, afraid of change. Khabib shouldn't be allowed at 155, Till shouldn't be allowed at 170 etc..

Yes, they keep track of weights. Bert used to do it. Someone else in s similar role probably does now
