-Kidd essentially admitted his guilt through the act of messaging a former BE-contributor and podcast co-host:

-Kidd had been collecting and downloading child porn since 2005 and the authorities weren't aware of his crimes until 2017.
-The police got tipped off that child porn was being downloaded and distributed from Kidd and Hannisdal's house in Scotland.
-Forensic computer search revealed that both men had hundreds of images of child porn and bestiality on their computers.
-Some of the images were classified as Category A (penetrative sex, sex with an animal, sadism).
-Kidd had almost 984 still images and 496 moving, and 7,689 pictures of extreme pornography.
-In early September, Kidd and Hannisdal appeared together at the Glasgow Sheriff’s Court for sentencing. Kidd admitted to charges of downloading and possessing indecent images of children between July 2005 and June 2017, and a charge of possessing extreme pornographic images between April 2007 and August 2017.
