Media BEN ASKREN Nobody Likes COLBY COVINGTON !

I know this is "media", but feel in many cases that there should be an "Obvious" tag used instead of "Confirmed."

Will be interesting to see how Askren's first fight goes.

Well, yeah. The idea is that Covington would, in fact, keep the fight standing. Askren is a great wrestler with a dominant top game, but his striking is beyond terrible. He's never showcased that he can take and hold down a wrestler and scrambler of Covington's calibre.
 
I like Colby Covington his boring style and fake persona are great.

I would love to see this fight. a lot of questions and uncertainty as far as I'm concerned. mostly with askren. he's obviously a crazy talent, but he looked rather human in his brief fight vs Luis Santos. and he hasn't faced much high level talent in general. you could argue that koreshkov and lima weren't "koreshkov and lima" when they fought years ago. I'm certainly not nay-saying that Ben Askren could be a top 3 welterweight. he very well could be. will have to wait and see.... but based off what I know, I think covington would take him
 
Ben askren is honestly getting more annoying than Covington at this point.
 
I am pretty sure most of you guys don't watch Ben Askren. A lot of you guys are going to post his wrestling is overrated when you finally see he doesn't have a power double or even a shot where his legs touch the ground.
Colby is exciting compared to Askren. He has wrestling tenacity and he has sucky but effective Jake Shields type of slow striking.
