Prime v. Prime @ LHW

Which former UFC/Pride/Bellator LHW Champion had the best chance to defeat DC?
 
No one. Add that to the poll.
 
You should have asked "who has the best chance"...
 
They could all have beaten him. But he is the favourite against everyone
 
Style wise it would be Lyoto, but I would still pick DC. Vitor would get taken down instantly and get pummeled.
 
IMHO this list must be multiple choices.
All below fighters have a chance (while on their primes).
  1. Randy Couture
  2. Vitor Belfort (on TRT)
  3. Rampage Jackson
  4. Rashad Evans
  5. Lyoto Machida
  6. Wanderlei Silva
  7. Chuck Liddell
  8. Ryan Bader
  9. Phil Davis
Note: I am not saying they all would be favorites, but the question is if they "could" beat DC, and I believe they could (under the right circumstances - as KenFlo rightly put it). And for a very few, it wouldn't even be considered a big upset.

Where the heck is Anderson Silva?
 
Maybe a prime Shad, being serious too. He was a HW in TUF and basically used his wrestling base to win. Machida could catch him too.

Shogun, Rampage, and Machida would have the best chances of beating him IMO.
 
I still think Johnson could've beat him if he didn't come out with that stupid ass gameplan.
