He had legit 1 punch KO power and was knocking smaller guys right and left but let's be real he is not coming back to FW ever!

We also saw how he struggled with Nate Diaz and Khabib, guys with legit chins but he wasn't nowhere near to even hurt them at least once and hurting people is his main asset.

I was wondering if he can adapt just like JDS did, another guy that was a monster KO artist and haven't knocked anybody out since 2013, I think probably the inactivity/floyd fight and the fact he is not fighting smaller guys anymore might greatly affect his Conor's KO power.

Do you think he can adapt, change his strategy now on at LW?

Healthy, active Conor can knock anybody out regardless of size.

He doesnt have 1 punch ko power. He only KOd once.

Conor adapted pretty well in the 2nd Diaz fight. He has legit finishing ability even at the elite level, he may need to just be a bit more patient at 155 than 145.

He knocked down diaz one of the greatest chin, and he was at 170. He destroyed alvarez. He hit khabib hard but lets not forget Conors power is a counter straight left. All his knock downs are counter straight left. Which means hes using the momentum of his opponent as a power advantage for his own punch. Usually people miss a right punch and are left wide open for conor to pin point their chins. Khabib always keeps his right hand up and didnt step too far into his right handed punch, therefore denying conor the opportunity to counter. Khabib is very good at leaving his hands up thats why 4 knock out artists in johnson, iaquinta, barboza and conor couldnt get many good hits on him. You are just underestimating khabibs defense coupled with takedown threat

Because 10 lbs magically gives people amazing chins.....

Weight has very, very little to do with chin.

He'll have a tougher time but he should still have success. Khabib and Nate are two tough durable fighters.

Healthy active Conor would KO sea-level Cain, maybe even underwater Cain.

Running away and surviving isn't adapting.

Conor = nobody, let's stop talking about him. Damn...

Conor will win the rematch. He needed to lose learn Khabib's weakness. Khabib is fooked now.

conor still has power at LW, but his power has always been overrated, it's his timing and accuracy that are incredible.

but it's not really fair to say that his power doesn't carry over, he knocked alvarez around and made him look like an amateur, dropped him like 4 times. then nate has a ridiculous chin, dropped him 3 times though, khabib seems like he has a really good chin but conor got tired out in the 1st so we didn't really get to see if he could crack khabib while fresh.

he also has a bunch of LW fights outside the UFC and finished all of em, i'm not really concerned about conor's power at LW because i know it's fine, it's if he even cares about fighting anymore.

He could still make 145 if he diets. Conor weighs under 170, about 168. When he was at FW he weighed about 160lbs five or take.

He def hits hard it's just about who he's fighting. He hurt Diaz a few times and Khabib he just didn't land too many clean shots. Conor doesn't really have devastating power just really good accuracy. Against Eddie every shot that landed seemed to hurt him but most were off counters.

Lol Eddie is a great example... a guy who gets dropped in almost every fight
