Cannonier is a huge LHW that used to weigh in for his Heavyweight bouts at 260+

Surely this fight is at LHW? I know Branch was LHW champ at WSOF but always undersized
 
Can’t say Jared isn’t ballsy. Stepped up to fight Glover and now getting Barbershop Branch.
 
Good on Jared for stepping up, but man, I don't like this fight for him at all.

His takedown defense sucks, and I see Branch exploiting that all night long. Things might get interesting on the feet, for as long as it stays there.

Cannonier has lost a ton of weight. Hes actually talked about moving to 185.

Yeah I like Jared as a fighter but his TDD isn’t as great. Let’s see how he fares he’s definitely the underdog here but I’m rooting for him.

Cannonier has been looking to move down to MW for a while. I believe he said he was going to after his fight with Reyes.
 
it is a decent fight but bro this event went from a good one to low key shit. DC vs lewis should be fan, the co main i between 2 ageing middleweight legends. Even though there are some decent talents in the prelims: jason knight, julio arce and solid HW ruslan magomedov is returning from the usada suspension., the casuals would not give a single fuck about it.
 
Feel sorry for Branch. This fight literally does nothing for him.
 
People are only picking Branch because they’re more familiar with him.

They better give him a big name next. I actually liked his chances against Jacare, too. It's a shame that he lost that opportunity.
 
This is the second time he's had a big name snatched from him. If I was branch I'd be pissed.

Jared's boxing is good, but he's fighting a very cautious guy in Dave who's developed into a decent boxer as well. You best believe that he'll shoot for a takedown if he gets stung by any of Cannonier's offense.

I don't mind it in the sense that it'll get him another win, but yeah, he better get an actual top 10 guy next.

Although I guess the issue is less with the UFC and more a matter of poor luck.
